Sioned Wiliam’s appointment follows the November dismissal of former CEO Sian Doyle due to claims of a “toxic culture” at the public service broadcaster.
According to Ms. Doyle’s spouse Rob, she was hospitalized in December following her termination.
According to Capital Law’s investigation, Ms. Doyle has a “dictatorial” and “creating a culture of fear” leadership style.
On the other hand, Ms. Doyle’s spouse claimed that the report’s wording was “cruel” and “heavily biased”.
The former head of the channel had previously accused Rhodri Williams, the chairman of S4C, of subjecting her to “a sustained pattern of retaliation, unfair treatment, and wider bullying”; Williams refutes these claims.
Lucy Frazer, the Culture Secretary, is anticipated to select a new head of S4C’s unitary board in the upcoming months.
