Concerning the potential 2,800 layoffs, the prime minister promised that the government will do “everything we can” to support employees.
When inquired about the possibility of offering “false optimism” to the town’s laborers, he responded, “No. The first minister and I are working together very hard on this because it is crucial that we take all necessary steps to keep those jobs.
