Where Are All the homosexual Superheroes?, his most recent endeavor, is a short film that examines the unease surrounding LGBTQ+ representation, particularly with regard to homosexual people in positions of authority.
The movie, which has three award nominations, will make its domestic premiere this Saturday at the Worcester Film Festival.
Although the movie is about superheroes, Martin clarified, “You could read the characters as politicians, A-list celebrities, or professional football players, you know, Premier League footballers.”
People argue that many LGBT people choose not to come out because they fear it will harm their job in every industry.
