After reaching a deal with Pakistan Hotel Development Limited (PHDL), the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) has officially assumed ownership and occupancy of the Regent Plaza Hotel in Karachi.
With the signing of the agreement on Tuesday, SIUT, which intends to turn the facility into a hospital, now has title and control over the Regent Plaza Hotel and Convention Centre.
Attending the event were attorneys and accountants from both sides, including Shabbar Zaidi, a trustee, and Adib Rizvi, the founder and director of SIUT.
Situated on Karachi’s well-known Sharea Faisal, the Regent Plaza Hotel spans 13,200 square yards, providing a total covered space of 47,034 square yards across several levels.
