Israeli soldiers killed five Palestinians in Jenin over the course of the last day, including a 60-year-old woman, the Palestinian Authority said Tuesday, adding to the mounting death toll from one of the biggest operations in the West Bank in years.
In a separate statement, the PA reported that Palestinian security forces had murdered another guy who had been wanted for past events.
The most recent events raise the total number of Palestinian deaths to over 30 since Israeli forces began a massive operation in January that involved thousands of troops in northern West Bank communities and refugee camps.
Numerous uninvolved civilians have also been slain, however armed fighters from Palestinian fighter organizations have made up the majority of those dead.
