RAWALPINDI: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the general region of Spinwam of District North Waziristan, killing at least six terrorists and injuring several others.
According to a statement from the military’s media wing, the operation was carried out on Saturday in response to reports of “khwarij” being there.
“During conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij’s location, as a result of which, six khwarij were sent to hell, while six khwarij got injured,” the statement continued.
The deceased Khwarij, who continued to actively participate in a number of terrorist attacks against the security forces and the murder of defenseless civilians, also had guns and ammunition found on him, according to the ISPR.
