Just after 5 p.m. on Friday, the force said it responded to reports of an alleged domestic altercation that occurred inside the park.
For domestic abuse, 22-year-old Jackson was taken into custody.
“Based on the initial investigation, it was determined Ms Jackson was the primary aggressor and was arrested for misdemeanour spousal battery,” according to police.
The actress was brought to a West Hollywood police station and is scheduled to appear in Van Nuys Superior Court.

The actress rose to fame on the Disney Channel sitcom Jessie, where she played Zuri Ross from 2011 to 2015.
For the first three, she played the same role.
