KARACHI: According to officials on Friday, the Customs Department, Rangers, and an intelligence agency were among the security services that carried out a coordinated operation at Chanti Gali in Bolton Market.
A sizable cache of illegal products was discovered during the operation, which was started in response to a tip.
Authorities disclosed that several stores and warehouses where the illicit goods were kept had their locks broken as part of the operation.
About ten vehicles were filled with the seized items before being turned over to Customs for additional legal action.
The operation was carefully organized in accordance with reliable intelligence assessments, officials told News.
According to a Rangers spokesperson, two suspects were taken into custody during a joint operation between Rangers and police on Hub River Road.
According to the spokeswoman, the suspects have been implicated in several robbery and street crime occurrences.
