Two years ago, Danish traveler Kennet Brask had a great time fishing in Florida and was hoping to go again this year. However, he canceled it after witnessing US President Donald Trump’s dramatic White House meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
In an interview with Reuters, Brask said, “When I saw this meeting, I told myself, ‘I’m never going to go to the United States as long as Mr. Trump is the President there,'” adding that Trump was “so rude” and lacked maturity.
He’ll go to Mexico instead.
According to five travel brokers throughout the continent, Brask is among several Danes, Germans, and more generally Europeans who are reevaluating their vacation plans in light of Trump’s actions.
