On Tuesday, Sony Pictures Entertainment unveiled the official trailer for Karate Kid: Legends, bringing back Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio and sparking the cherished martial arts series.
Resuming their legendary roles as Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso, respectively, the two actors work together to instruct Li Fong, a new karate prodigy portrayed by Ben Wang, a relative novice.
The Daily Mail claims that the action-packed teaser opened with Mr. Han, played by Jackie Chan, instructing a karate class in a calm Chinese garden encircled by skyscrapers.
One of the pupils is Li Fong, a teenage martial artist who was displaced from Beijing to New York City and now endures bullying at school and tries to fit in.
Li chooses to take a high-stakes karate class when he befriends a girl who needs assistance.
