“I believe there will be five-member bench in the Supreme Court and three-member benches in the high courts,” said the advisor.
He indicated that the three most senior judges’ names were being considered for the chief justice position.
“All three are excellent judges and exceptional individuals.”
He emphasized that seniority and fitness among the top three applicants are the foundations of the principle as stated by the Supreme Court itself.
