Following concerns regarding disruptions in the gas delivery, the Sui Southern Gas Company announced Monday that it had emergency meetings with the MDs and senior management of the SSGC subsidiaries at both the secretary and minister levels.
According to a statement from the corporation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif responded promptly to Sunday’s complaints about the gas supply to household customers during the preparations for Iftar and Sehri.
“Emergency meetings were held at both the secretary and minister levels with the MDs and senior management of the Sui companies” in response to domestic customer complaints and the premier’s directives to address these complaints regarding ensuring the provision of gas during Sehri and Iftar times.
The top management of SSGC then met multiple times during the night.
