A Modern Family spin-off could be in the works, according to Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who believes the show’s ending opens the door to a variety of options.
The star-child, who joined the smash sitcom’s ensemble as a four-year-old in season three, spoke with the Daily Mail about the possibility of repeating her role as Lily, the adopted daughter of Cam and Mitchell, played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet, respectively.
Aubrey, who is now 16, told the outlet: “They haven’t talked anything about anything. But my mom questioned, “Would you want to do that?” and I thought about it and don’t know.
She continued, “I suppose maybe if it happened – and definitely if it happened – I would be out of high school. In all honesty,at would be fine with me, but I want to stay in high school because I only have less than a year and a half left.’
