LAHORE: The state counsel’s “lack of knowledge” and lack of seriousness regarding the widespread internet service outages, which have been a major problem in the nation for weeks, angered the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday.
A civilian called Noman Sarwar filed a plea against the “nationwide internet shutdown” with Justice Ahmad of the LHC, requesting the rapid restoration of internet connection nationwide.
Due to poor connectivity, millions of people nationwide still have difficulty utilizing the internet, especially in places where mobile data is available.
The supposed testing of an internet firewall to control social media, which features filters to prevent undesired content from reaching a user, is what the government has blamed for the problem.
