As he is set to tell another tale of an extraterrestrial invasion, Steven Spielberg is prepared to go back to the made-up universe.
The renowned director has chosen to return to the genre with a novel perspective following the critical and commercial success of his 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Variety reports.
While the title and plot of the film are yet unknown, rumors suggest that director of The Color Purple, David Koepp, a seasoned screenwriter who he worked with on the popular 1993 Jurassic Park, will be collaborating on this project.
Although the director of this mystery film is unknown, it is speculatively produced by his studio Amblin and partner Frank Marshal.
