Evans is most known as the moustachioed tenor from the Go Compare commercials, and he also presents on Wales.
Throughout his 25-year career, he has had two number one classical music CDs, served as a principal at several major opera houses across the world, and provided it.
Born in Carmarthen, he was also named Celebrity MasterChef champion for 2023.
After being presented, Evans stated that he is most excited to perform the ballroom numbers but is “nervous” about the boisterous dances.
When asked what he was most forward to, he told Kay, “The classic ballroom stuff is the one I’m looking forward to the most because obviously, for 20 years I was an opera singer, and we did a lot of classic ballroom in opera.”
