According to reports, a Punjab University student committed suicide after a failed romantic connection.
Sources claim that the deceased, known as Umm-e-Habiba, committed suicide yesterday night in Punjab University’s Hostel No. 8.
The deceased’s family declared that they have no reason to suspect anyone and that they do not want her remains to be autopsied.
Following legal procedures, the police turned over the body to the family after the parents refused to pursue any further action.
After that, the family returned to their hometown to bury the body.
