The Sukkur Express’s down track from Kotri to Karachi was suspended when two of its carriages derailed at Kotri Station.
The train’s carriages veered off the tracks in Jamshoro, where the tragedy took place.
Railway officials stated that operations on the impacted track have been suspended following the disaster.
