In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, picturesque locations have welcomed a record-breaking 9.3 million visitors during the summer months of May through July 31 of this year.
According to a statement released on Tuesday, officials made these remarks at a tourism-related meeting chaired by top ministerial advisor on tourism and culture, Zahid Chan Zeb.
They stated that the increased number of tourists was also a result of the tourism department’s authority organizing promotional events.
Zeb was grateful for the Tourism Department’s efforts in drawing a sizable crowd to the province. He further mentioned that Nishtar Hall in Peshawar would soon start hosting cultural events again.
