Mr. Sunak replied “no” when Labour MP Marsha De Cordova questioned him during Prime Minister’s Questions about returning a particular donation from Frank Hester’s business that was £15,900 and included a helicopter ride.
Sharp arguments broke out in the Commons as Mr. Sunak came under growing pressure to give the money back to Mr. Hester and his healthcare software company, The Phoenix Partnership, who have together given the Conservatives £10 million since the 2019 election.
