A wooden log prop was inadvertently handled incorrectly during a heated battle scene involving multiple action actors.
The scene, which was intended to highlight Shetty’s well-known dedication to pulling off his own stunts, took a risky turn when the log hit him squarely in the rib cage. According to people close to the development, the hit caused severe pain, necessitating on-set medical assistance right away.
Shetty has a reputation for carrying out intense action scenes, but his injury seemed serious enough to cause the cast and crew to worry. An X-ray machine and a doctor were promptly dispatched to the scene.
