Dozens of militants, affiliated with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), blew up a railway track and assaulted the Jaffar Express, carrying hundreds of passengers, from Balochistan’s Bolan district on Tuesday.
Following the conclusion of the hostage-rescue operation on Wednesday, Pakistani security forces rescued the remaining passengers, while the terrorists killed 21 of them.
According to Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), all 33 terrorists were “sent to hell…no harm was caused to any passenger during the clearance operation.”
As the Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads, survivors of the Jaffar Express Train attack have come out to talk about their harrowing ordeal.
