KARACHI: The suspect’s attorney in the Karsaz traffic accident on Monday contested the judicial magistrate’s decision to reject the bail petition in the narcotics case.
The attorney contested the ruling before the sessions court, claiming the judicial magistrate disregarded important evidence in the bail petition.
The families of the victims—two of whom lost their lives and numerous others were injured in the unfortunate incident that occurred in Karachi on April 19—have pardoned the culprit. She is still burdened with the shame of her drug use, though.
Methamphetamine, also referred to as crystal meth, was discovered in the suspect’s blood and urine tests, prompting the filing of a second case against her, authorities told News on August 31.
