The murdered woman, a mother of two, had been friends with the suspect and lived in Bangash Colony with her mother and brother.
The woman’s brother, who lives in Dhoke Dalal, filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the Banni police on Monday night. He claimed to have received a call on Monday night telling him that his sister had been murdered by a man in Kartarpura.
He hurried over there right once and discovered his sister’s and the man’s bodies in a room covered in blood, with a revolver next to them.
He added that the woman and the man entered the residence and entered a room while the female inhabitants disclosed that they were in their room.
