KARACHI: The victims’ heirs granted the suspect a pardon on Friday, stating that since the accident was not deliberate, they had no problem with them being granted bail in the case.
We have forgiven the suspect and resolved our differences. We have granted forgiveness in the name of Allah, the Almighty, who is the most compassionate and forgiving,” the affidavit was presented to the court during the suspect’s bail request hearing.
The heirs stated that since the accident was not a premeditated effort at murder, they had no problem granting the suspect bail.
“What we have stated in the affidavit is absolutely correct, and we have granted this no-objection certificate without any coercion,” the affidavit stated.
