Sydney Sweeney spoke openly about her role in Madame Web.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the 26-year-old actress discussed her first studio disaster, revealing that she doesn’t mind if the film’s dismal performance is derided.
“I was just hired as an actress in it, so I was just along for the ride for whatever was going to happen,” Sydney said me.
Madame Web has released her third high-profile film in four months, Immaculate, which premiered at SXSW after dominating the box office alongside Glen Powell in her smash romantic comedy Anyone But You.
Sydney played Julia Cornwall in Madame Web, a Spider-Woman-inspired film.The comic book film could only make $42 million at the domestic box office.Previously, the Euphoria actor joked about the movie being derided by telling Jimmy Kimmel on Saturday Night Live, “You definitely didn’t see me in ‘Madame Web.'”
