Regarding Lasso, her upcoming country album, Lana Del Rey shared some details.
Del Rey disclosed in a Vogue interview that the record will remain true to her American heritage.
She stated, “All my albums are somewhat rooted in Americana, unless it’s an album like ‘Honeymoon’ which has a jazz flair,” stating, “So I don’t think it will be a heavy departure.”
It is anticipated that the record, which is being produced by Luke Laird and Jack Antonoff, would have a more whimsical approach to its lyrics.
“If anything, it will just be a little lighter lyrically, and more pointed in a classic country, American, or Southern Gothic production — which again, so many of my songs already are,” Del Rey said.
