According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday, security forces killed at least three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Tank area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Security forces carried out an operation in response to the claimed presence of terrorists, according to a statement from the military’s media wing.
“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location, as a result of which, three khwarij were sent to hell,” according to the ISPR.
The slain terrorists were still actively engaged in a number of terrorist attacks against both innocent civilians and security personnel, it was noted, and guns and ammo were also found on them.
“Sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area.”
