The protests of the Imran Khan-founded party had never been peaceful, according to Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, who criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for warning of armed protests against the federal government following the events of November 26.
The minister responded to the contentious statement by pointing out the purported history of the former ruling party using violent methods. The minister stated on Saturday night that “illegal Afghan immigrants and armed protest demonstrations are a hallmark of the PTI.”
In the past, armed groups marched on the federal capital, Tarar continued.
Hours after the firebrand, the minister condemned KP CM warned the current government that people would take to the streets and urged PTI founder Imran Khan to stop calling for peace.
