Taylor Swift’s private jet tracker has finally responded to the cease and desist notice from her lawyers.
Earlier this month, the 34-year-old singer’s lawyer, Katie Wright Morrone, accused Jack Sweeney, a computer programming major at the University of Central Florida, of utilizing public flight data to track many well-known celebrities.
In addition, he was accused of engaging “in stalking and harassing behavior, including consistently publishing real-time and precise information about Taylor’s location and future whereabouts to the public.”
Jack responded to the charges on his X account, taking a dig at the popstar.
He uploaded a screenshot of his contemptuous response to Katie and tweeted, “Look What You Made Me Do.”
According to his attorney James Slater’s letter, “there is nothing unlawful about Sweeney’s use of publicly accessible information to track private jets, including those used by public figures like Taylor Swift.”
“Furthermore, the alarming tone in your letter is unjustified. Our clients’ website only offers the location of private planes based on publicly available information. “This information poses no threat to Ms. Swift’s safety,” the letter stated.
