KARACHI: Ten Pakistani nationals, including five women, have been arrested by UAE authorities for begging in a number of raids throughout the nation.
Residents have lately received a warning from UAE police not to give money to beggars who are roving around streets, mosques, and public areas.
Officials from the Guld nation have notified Pakistani authorities of the arrests in the meantime.
Three women from Punjab’s Vehari district, Amna, Kausar, and Farzana Bibi, as well as Jameela and Zubaida Bibi from Lahore, were arrested while begging and taken to jail, according to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) sources. Right now, they are being readied for deportation to Pakistan.
