In Kuram Agency, a tribal district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, fighting over a land dispute has entered its third day, with 10 people dead and 55 injured.
Both sides have been deploying heavy weaponry in the battle, which has been taking place in a number of sites, including Bushera, Dander, Balish Khel, Har Kaley, Piwar, and Shapina Shaga Gedo. Late last night, there were reports of a dozen missiles fired toward Parachinar town.
The number of injured and the death toll were confirmed by hospital officials.
There were four areas in Kuram Agency where police reported hearing heavy gunfire.
