The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), an ally of the federal government, announced the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025–2024 as a typical budget.

The National Assembly has heard the presentation of the federal budget, which totals 18,877 billion rupees for the upcoming fiscal year 2025–2024, by Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.

MQM leader Dr. Farooq Sattar responded to the budget by saying that, although they are not opposed to it, it is a typical budget and that they want to tax both the wealthy and the average person in order to close the budget deficit. The tax caused it to end.

According to the MQM leader, inflation will cause people’s temperaments to deteriorate, and similar to the Muzaffarabad public protest, this will happen in every city.
