The girl was attacked on the morning of August 12 at the well-known West End tourist destination in front of her 34-year-old mother, seriously injuring her.
The girl was approached by a male, who put her in a headlock and stabbed her eight times, according to earlier testimony given to the court.
She suffered injuries to her face, shoulder, wrist, and neck, therefore she was brought to the hospital for treatment.
The mother-daughter duo had wanted to catch Swift at one of her Wembley Stadium performances while touring Europe to watch the Matildas, Australia’s national women’s football team, compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
After a week of recuperation following her tragedy, the girl’s desire came true: she was able to see Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour thanks in part to assistance from Australian consulate officers.
“It was bad to meet them under those circumstances but they are some people I will remember forever,” the young victim said, expressing gratitude to everyone who assisted in her rehabilitation, including hospital staff.
The girl’s mother went on to say that her kid is prepared to “return to normal” and has been “incredible.”
She claimed to be the happiest child you’ll ever meet and to be quite bouncy.
