Babar Azam, the outstanding batsman for Pakistan, was a “perfect fit” and was finally named to the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) Men’s T20I Team of the Year for 2024.
Babar, who is only 31 years old, has furthered his remarkable career after receiving official recognition from the ICC for his exceptional performance throughout the years.
ICC posted a video of the former Pakistani captain accepting the hat on Instagram. “The ICC T20I Team of the Year 2024 cap fits perfectly on Babar Azam,” said the caption for the video.
With three straight half-centuries against New Zealand, Babar’s outstanding performance got the year off to a great start, according to the international cricket body.
