The 24-year-old daughter of Snoop Dogg experienced a “severe” stroke on Thursday morning.
“This morning, I suffered a serious stroke. When they told me, I started crying,” Cori Broadus posted on her Instagram story this morning.
“Like I’m only 24? What did I do in my past to deserve all of this?” she asked her 655,000 social media followers in a different post.
Cori is shared by Snoops Dogg and his spouse, Shante Broadus. The rapper called it quits and got back together with the woman three years after the two got married in 1997. He then filed for divorce in 2004.
Fox News Digital reached out to Snoop Dogg and Shante’s representatives, but they did not immediately respond.
At age six, Cori was given a lupus diagnosis by doctors. The Lupus Foundation of America states that lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that produces pain and inflammation throughout the body.
Cori disclosed in September that she had switched to a holistic, “all natural” approach to treating her lupus. In an interview with People magazine, the rapper’s daughter stated that she was doing “better than I’ve ever been”.
Cori clarified, “I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago.” “I’m just using natural products, like sea moss, teas, and various herbs.
“I started working out, drinking lots of water,” she stated. “So now I think my body’s like, okay, this is the new program, and she’s getting used to it.”
When Cori started feeling “like I was going insane” from her medication regimen, she decided to take a holistic approach.
Since I was six years old, I’ve been on medication, and I’ve been dependent on these drugs my entire life. I therefore desired better for myself,” she told the publication. “It just became a lot, so I wanted to change. I’m only 24 years old, and I take ten or twelve pills daily. I therefore kind of quit abruptly.”
