The latest housing intervention from the leader of the Labour Party comes as both parties get ready to fight for the votes of young people in the run-up to the next election.
Before leaving for the tour, Sir Keir stated: “Britain’s workers and Britain’s interests have been failed.” He will be joined by Angela Rayner, the shadow leveling up secretary and deputy leader. “Living standards have plummeted, as has the traditional British belief that if you work hard, it pays,” he stated. “Too many individuals can’t afford a better salary, and owning a home is now only a dream. “The economic decisions made by the Conservative Party are wholly inconsistent with such ideals. They have made hollow claims about leveling up in the interim. The Conservatives are placing bets on you as well as the house.”While visiting a housing development in the West Midlands on Monday, the leader of the Labour Party will pledge to provide a “future built in Britain, by Britain, for Britain”.
