A booking error on an airline has led to a 101-year-old woman being mistaken for a baby.
The issue arises from the apparent inability of American Airlines’ systems to calculate Patricia’s birth year of 1922 instead of 2022. Patricia chose not to disclose her last name.
The newest confusion was seen in the news, but it was easily laughed off by her and the cabin crew.
She remarked, “It was funny that they thought I was an old lady and I’m only a little child.”
The centenarian, however, claims that since the glitch has given her some trouble in the past, she would like it rectified.
For instance, there was a time when airport employees were anticipating a passenger and did not have transportation available for her within the terminal.
