He listed a number of crucial steps that must be taken to guarantee the efficient and equitable administration of exams throughout Sindh, with an emphasis on Karachi.
Memon disclosed that the tests would take place in two shifts throughout all of Sindh’s divisions, with 180 test centers set up in Karachi alone. It is anticipated that over 200,000 applicants will take part in these intertests.
Section 144 will be implemented around testing locations to ensure safety and order, and it has been decided to confiscate cell phones to stop cheating.
“Rangers staff will be posted outside sensitive examination centres to ensure security,”
Memon said, stressing how crucial it is to have a safe and comfortable testing environment.
The chairman announced that special health precautions have been implemented in anticipation of the extreme heat wave that is expected to occur during the exam period. Exam centers will have medical personnel on hand, and pupils will receive energy pills for the first time to help prevent malnourishment. He said, “These include freebies like glucose, vitamin C, anti-allergy drugs, painkillers, and mineral water.” In order to manage any emergencies, ambulances will also be stationed outside the centers.
Memon emphasized that testing locations have only been established in universities with sufficient space to handle the enormous volume of applicants. He guaranteed that ongoing efforts are being made to enhance testing procedures.
