On March 26, Sonny Suberu, 60, fell from the 22nd storey of his hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and was discovered dead.
The London-based author and former IT consultant was traveling alone through South Asia. She had been all over the world.
Authorities in Cambodia claim that Mr. Suberu committed suicide, but Shannon, his daughter, doesn’t believe the police version and notes that another man died at the same hotel a few weeks prior to her father’s arrival.
“[The Cambodian authorities] are saying he’s fallen,” she said to News.

“[The Cambodian authorities] are saying he’s fallen from a roof,” she said to News. There isn’t a bruise on my dad’s face in the pictures I received.
