Taylor Swift and Beyoncé proved to be the perfect luck charms for AMC Theatres in 2023.
The firm recently published the increase in revenue they saw as a result of the artists’ individual performance documentaries, claiming that “literally all” of those earnings came from fans who attended their films.
The theater chain reported a net loss of 182 million in the fourth quarter of 2022, down from a net loss of $287.7 million in 2022, and sales of $1.10 billion, up from $900.9 million in 2022.
There were 51.9 million audience members, representing a 4.7% increase in attendance from the previous year.
