The Pakistan Army and the People’s Liberation Army of China wrapped up their three-week training exercise, known as Pak-China Joint Exercise Warrior-VIII, on December 11.
The exercise, the seventh in a series of yearly bilateral drills, was held from November 19 to December 11 and concentrated on counter-terrorism strategies.
Lieutenant General Shahid Imtiaz, Commander of the Rawalpindi Corps, was the special guest at a Distinguished Visitor’s Day (DVD) ceremony conducted at the Tilla Field Firing Range on December 10.
Other officials, including the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, attended the ceremony and commended the troops’ professionalism throughout the drill.
