Speaking to news With Sophy Ridge, Tony Blair’s spouse said that Mrs. Clinton is “still a dear friend” and that she mentored her when the Labour politician took the helm of the opposition in 1994.
In response to a question on what guidance she would offer Lady Victoria, the wife of Sir Keir Starmer, should he win the next general election and become prime minister, Mrs. Blair stated she would follow the guidance given by the US presidential candidate in 2016.
“I’m sure Lady Victoria will receive a lot of advice, but I will always tell her what Hillary Clinton told me: “You’re going to be criticized and disliked by some people, but not for anything you do, but for what you stand for. Thus, the most crucial thing is to stay loyal to who you are and do the things that you find comfortable,” the speaker stated.
