Following Wednesday night’s collision between an American Airlines aircraft from Kansas carrying 64 passengers and a military helicopter operated by three troops, recovery efforts are still ongoing in Washington, DC.
Top Russian and American figure skaters, a young pilot, flight attendants, and a lawyer returning home for her birthday are among the victims.

Raza Asra Hussain
After obtaining a master’s degree in hospital management, 26-year-old Asra Hussain Raza of Indiana relocated to the Washington, DC, area.
According to her husband Hamaad Raza, “she was returning from a work trip where she was helping to improve a hospital that really needed help.”
