ISLAMABAD According to The News, the second round of talks between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will start on Thursday afternoon.
Today’s in-camera meeting between the government and PTI negotiation committees has been moved from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. According to the National Assembly spokeswoman, the committee members asked that the time of the meeting be changed.
Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq will preside over the meeting, which will take place in the Constitution Committee Room of Parliament House. Negotiations between the government and PTI are being led and facilitated by the NA speaker.
The opposition party has made the decision to demand that the government free PTI prisoners and establish a judicial panel to look into the cases related to the May 9 and November 26 protests.
