The woman was observed on the other side of the railings when the American singer was allegedly recording a music video for his band’s song “The People’s House” on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
Local police have released CCTV footage of the Bon Jovi frontman and woman strolling across the bridge on Tuesday night.
The singer then appears to start conversing to the distraught woman as they gently approach her and lean against the railings.
The woman Bon Jovi was accompanying is seen patting the person’s back and urging her to return to it.
Then, they can be seen assisting the woman in scaling the rails once more.
After giving her an embrace, Bon Jovi and her stand together for almost a minute before heading back down the bridge.
A “distraught woman” was assisted by the singer, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, which posted the video on its YouTube channel.
