The 41-year-old Dharmesh Patel has entered a not guilty plea to three charges of attempted murder.

The white 2021 Tesla Model Y that Patel, a 42-year-old radiologist, was driving south of San Francisco on the Pacific Coast Highway, crashed several hundred feet off the cliff at Devil’s Slide.
An “absolute miracle” according to one official, all four of them survived the crash.
For the first time since Patel’s wife was seriously injured, she spoke in court.
