Less than two weeks had passed since the TV doctor’s disappearance on June 5, while on vacation with his wife Clare.
Five days later, his body was discovered on a rocky part of the island.
A physician and broadcaster, Chris van Tulleken introduced the final interview with the late TV doctor, referring to Dr. Mosley as “one of the most important broadcasters of recent decades”.
In his own words, Dr. Van Tulleken wished for listeners “to reflect on his style, dryly witty, modest, humble”.
In the interview, which was filmed on May 25 at the Hay Festival in Wales, Dr. Mosley asked psychology professor Paul Bloom for his best advice on finding happiness.
Renowned for his appearances on The One Show and This Morning, Dr. Mosley discussed the advantages of embracing discomfort, like taking cold baths.
In the interview that aired on “There’s Only One Michael Mosley,” a special episode of his regular BBC Radio 4 program, the host stated, “I cannot say it is a moment of bliss.”
“Usually, there is a lot of screaming that follows. Actually, my wife detests me for singing so loudly, but it helps me get through it, and later, I kind of feel good about it.
