Rawalpindi: As the couple recorded their statements under Section 342 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), the well-known £190 million corruption case against imprisoned former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi has reached its conclusion.
The graft case against the former prime minister was heard Monday at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi by Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the Accountability Court.
After being condemned in Toshakhana case-I, one of the scores of cases filed against the former premier after his removal from office in April 2022, the 71-year-old cricket player-turned-politician has been incarcerated since August of last year.
