Karachi: The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Wednesday revealed the gas supply plan for the holy month of Ramadan, which is less than a week away.
The SSGC added in a statement that during Ramadan, the gas will be available for Iftaar meals from 3:30 to 10 p.m. and for Sehri (pre-dawn meal) from 3 to 9 a.m.
“These timings have been worked out to provide convenience to our esteemed customers for food preparations for Sehar and Iftaar,” the business stated.
But it’s important to remember that the country’s gas reserves are being depleted by about 10% a year, which has resulted in a growing gap between supply and demand for gas, the SSGC stated.
